                Classical dance has meaning, which has scripture. And a dance that has certain rules. Classical dance requires years of training. Earlier, these dances were performed in temples as an adoration of the Lord.  Therefore, it is known as the Devalaya dance, which means that devotion is predominant in it. Classical dance is a fully developed form of dance. Classical dances that used to be held in temples then took place in the court of kings and are now performed in theaters. Folk dance :

                There is no country where there is no dance, dance is a straightforward and accurate language. Everyone knows by birth. When there is excess in pleasure and Urmi. Then the urges and emotions in the body come out in a rhythmic way. This is how dance is created because the body moves in a rhythmic way.

The dance is now divided into three types in all parts of the world.

1)  folk dance

2)  tribal dance

3)  classical dance

                Comparing all the dances of the world, it seems necessary that religion is associated with dance in every part of the world. Then there is tribal, folk dance, or classical dance. People gather for their own enjoyment on religious or social occasions or in a fair. Folk dance is a dance adopted by people better than tribal dance. You do not need any special training to learn folk dance. Seeing this, people have inherited it. Folk dance is composed of simple body movements and natural vitality and vigor. Applause usually comes in folk dances. Somewhere in a circle, somewhere in a semicircle, somewhere in a row, somewhere men and women get together, sometimes they sing and dance, sometimes with dance. Dance on the beat of a drum somewhere. Although all folk dances have one thing in common, our country dances are seen in different music and different genres, due to different influences of language, customs, costumes, and natural environment.

In India, Garba in Gujarat, Lavani, and Machhimar in Maharashtra, Ghoomar in Rajasthan, Teratali are different folk dances.
